Parking-space host checklist: prepare before your first booking
Before you publish a parking space, walk through the arrival as if you were a driver who has never seen the building. The checklist below catches most avoidable questions before the first booking.
Before publishing
- You own the space or have permission to offer it.
- Building, landlord, or shared-garage rules are understood.
- You know the exact area included in the booking.
- You can explain the entrance without publishing a sensitive code.
Fit and access
- Approximate width, length, and height clearance are written down.
- A large car, van, roof box, or trailer limitation is stated.
- The route includes the correct gate, ramp, floor, or bay number.
- Lighting and night access are described.
- The driver can leave without needing an unavailable key or remote.
Photos and copy
- One photo shows the approach from the street.
- One photo shows the entrance or gate.
- One photo shows the complete bay.
- Difficult turns, pillars, slopes, or narrow spaces are visible.
- No faces, private windows, keys, documents, or public access codes appear.
Availability and price
- The available hours are genuinely free.
- Overnight, weekend, and holiday rules are clear.
- The price reflects location, cover, access, and convenience.
- The listing does not promise guaranteed earnings.
- You know how to update availability when your plans change.
After a booking
- The driver receives clear access instructions.
- You know where to find the booking and payment record.
- You have a plan for questions, extensions, and problems at arrival.
- You leave the spot in the condition shown in the listing.
Use the full listing guide, the photo guide, and the earnings calculator for the details. Then start hosting with a space you can describe and honour consistently.
