Parking near Prague-Kačerov railway station

July 12, 2026 · Guides for drivers

Plan the rail and metro connection together

The current České dráhy page for Praha-Kačerov lists the station’s local transport connection and current access information. A driver using Kačerov is often making a transfer rather than visiting a final destination. Parking near Kačerov station should therefore be compared with the full rail-to-metro route, luggage, and the time of the return.

Start with the Prague station hub and the metro parking hub. If a hospital, office, or university is the final destination, use the relevant planning page as well. A nearby private listing is not automatically a station bay, metro parking, or a legal place to wait for a passenger.

Before booking, check the train, the next public-transport connection, and the exact meeting point. A short transfer can become difficult with a suitcase, stroller, bicycle, or mobility equipment. Read the listing for surface, slope, gate, lighting, vehicle fit, and late return access. For a commuter arrangement, verify repeated entry and exit rather than assuming a one-off booking works every day.

For a pickup, keep the vehicle out of bus stops, crossings, and emergency access. For a longer stay, keep the ticket, booking, and transport instructions separate and have a fallback for a missed connection. The operator’s current page and Prague public-transport information decide the transfer; Vick Park only supplies a separate private parking option.

Compare by the whole route and return plan, not by the shortest line from a space to the station marker.
